Valerie

At the beginning of 2024 one of my resolutions was to watch more movies, replacing doom scrolling with meaning full content so I could study film, become a cinephile and a better film maker. I did just that! "Valerie and Her Week of Wonders" was on my list since the beginning after stumbling across a video essay about it by "Final Girl Studios" which I didn't watch until I had seen the film. Although the film is very controversial and made me quite uncomfortable at parts, I think it's beautiful and continues to be very relevant. I wrote this song after watching the film cause it had left me so inspired. The track was made in a week as it's just supposed to be a cinematic experience through sound not even really a song, I hope you listen!
